“My daughter and I do go to shop at the Belmont market site as often as we can and enjoy doing so. I especially appreciate being able to use our food stamps, making these go further on fresh healthy food!”

How we use donations
We appreciate your generosity and will use your donation for programs such as these:
- Matching SNAP, WIC and Senior FNMP coupons. We match the first $25 of SNAP purchases (formerly Food Stamps) at the Belmont Farmers’ Market. We also match coupons from WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) and coupons from FMNP (Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program). This helps our neighbors in need get more fresh, local produce and other products.
- Fresh produce. We work with the Boston Area Gleaners to ensure deliveries of produce to the Belmont Food Pantry; this amounts to thousands of pounds of produce each year. We sponsor Community Growing, where residents grow produce for the Belmont Food Pantry.
